Transaero aircraft seats ‘glittering with gold’

Russian carrier Transaero Airlines has released details of its Airbus A380 interior design. Scheduled to join its fleet in 2015, the four A380s will be configured in to three classes of service: Imperial, Business, and Economy.

Imperial class will feature 12 closed suites with luxury seats, with the functionality to convert in to fully-flat beds. It will also feature the “largest” seats in its class, and are to be finished in fabric “glittering with shades of gold”. Imperial class will be situated on the lower deck of the aircraft, and will be configured in a 1-2-1 format.

Business class will accommodate 24 cocoon-style seats, upholstered with high-quality fabric, which may be easily transformed into 180° flat beds. Located on the upper deck of the A380, Business will also feature a 1-2-1 seating configuration.
