Trelleborg to acquire Schwab Vibration Control

Trelleborg of Sweden, through its business area Trelleborg Industrial Solutions, is to acquire Schwab Vibration Control, a manufacturer of vibration control components and system solutions.

Germany-based Schwab, owned by the Freudenberg Group, develops and manufactures anti-vibration and suspension solutions for rail applications. The company also offers products for off-highway and industrial sectors.

Trelleborg is a supplier of engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and protect critical applications in demanding environments.

The acquisition is part of the company’s wider strategy to extend its geographical reach across Europe, expanding its international distribution network.
