Japan’s Uniqlo has acquired a 35% stake in Hanoi, Vietnam-based women’s fashion products maker Elise, which has more than 100 stores across the country. The value of the share acquisition has not been disclosed.
As a result, Uniqlo appears to have taken a step closer to opening its first store in Vietnam in 2019.
