After pressure from international campaigners, Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo agreed to meet with representatives of former workers of the Jaba Garmindo factory, which went bankrupt in 2015.
However, the retailer is reported to have walked away from the mediation process without making a substantial offer to the workers, who are owed US$5.5m in severance payment.
