Uzbek exports of raw cotton and yarn to end in 2019

Uzbekistan plans to suspend exports of raw cotton, yarn and other semi-finished products in 2019 in favour of exports of ready-made textiles.

According to the Ministry of Economy, this could provide additional revenues worth US$7bn a year.
