Vietnam's textile and clothing exports rise 11.3% in Q1

Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports increased 11.3% year on year to US$7.3bn for the first three months of 2019, reports the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas).

The US remained the biggest market for the sector with a turnover of US$3.4bn, followed by the EU with US$1.4bn, Japan US$964m, China US$936m and South Korea US$874m.
