Vietnamese textile exporter raises nearly US$6.9m in IPO

State-controlled Gia Dinh Textile and Garment sold more than 15m shares, equivalent to a 24.28% stake, for more than VND155.8bn (US$6.89m) in an initial public offering (IPO).

No foreign investors bid in the offering, which was oversubscribed by nearly three times at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange on 18 March.
