Vietnam's fibre export turnover reaches US$5.6bn

Vietnam’s export turnover of fibres of all types reached a record high of US$5.6bn in 2021, despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This was up 9% in volume and 50% in value compared with 2020, according to data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

Many enterprises including Hanoi Textile Garment (Hanosimex) benefited from the rise in fibre prices.
