Visions for the future of mobility
In a recent online event, German manufacturer Freudenberg Performance Materials (FPM) brought experts and users together to discuss the potential of performance and lightweight materials for the development of sustainable mobility concepts.
Keynote speaker Matthias Horx, a renowned futurologist and sociologist of the Frankfurt am Main, Germany-based Zukunfstinstitut, painted a positive picture, outlining the challenges that mobility concepts will have to tackle.
Options for the direction that new mobility should take was the subject of a roundtable discussion, then FPM specialists offered insights into innovative technologies in the fields of car acoustics, fuel cells, lightweight bodywork construction, gas diffusion layers and friction inserts.
