Wool spinning mill under construction in Vietnam

A new wool spinning mill is to open in Vietnam in the middle of next year. The plant is a joint venture between Germany’s Südwolle Group and Lien Phuong Textile & Garment, a wool yarn producer based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Construction of the new plant has begun in the Phat Chi industrial cluster in the Tram Hanh commune of Da Lat. The plant is expected to come on stream in 2019 with annual sales of US$100m.
