Nha Be Textile Garment has started construction of a new clothing factory in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang.
The factory, with a total investment of more than VND300bn (US$13.2m), will create jobs for 4,000 workers, said Pham Phu Cuong, chairman.
The first phase of the factory is scheduled to begin operation in February 2018, employing 2,000 workers, while the second phase of construction will begin in 2019.
