Yarn made from Philippine agricultural waste

RYPIC Iloilo2The Philippine Textile Research Institute, part of the Department of Science and Technology, has developed a technology that can convert the fibrous materials of an agricultural or forest product into a spinnable material that can then be transformed into a spun yarn with knitting or weaving or for use as an input material for nonwovens.
