Georgian textile producer Adjara Textile has commissioned a new plant in Poti, which will create more than 1,000 new jobs.
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dmitry Kumsishvili said the company had so far invested GEL25m (US$9.2m) in the new factory with a further GEL15m (US$5.5m) to be invested by the end of the year.
