Benefits of contracting in BiH for foreign companies
The textile sector is one of the traditional industries in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and one of the main operating models is the so-called “lohn system” of contract production.
According to Dr Denis Berberović, assistant professor at the Department of Marketing, School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo, this system is good for companies that do not have their own brands, providing financially secure jobs because the customers are generally large global companies offering relatively stable co-operation.
