Textile production in Kyrgyzstan on verge of crisis

The volume of textile production in Kyrgyzstan may have decline tenfold last year compared with 2013-14 owing to the current financial crisis in the country, according to Lubov Ardamina, a spokesperson of Souztextile, which unites the largest Kyrgyz textile producers. In addition, the number of jobs in the industry is expected to decline by 60-70% in 2016, she said.
