Norm, one of the largest Turkish manufacturers of textile products for the defence industry, has announced plans to establish textile production in Uzbekistan this year.
According to a company spokesperson, Uzbekistan has favourable conditions for textile production, mainly due to its relatively low costs for electricity and skilled labour, and a rich raw materials base.
