Vietnamese fashion collection combines imported and local fabrics
A fashion show with the theme “The Edge of Elegance” was held in Hoi An, Vietnam, on 10 December. The collection combined traditional handicraft elements of beading, hand embroidery and modern tailoring techniques to respond to Hoi An’s participation in the networks of UNESCO Creative Cities in handicrafts and folk art.
“The Edge of Elegance” collection for women and men was designed by Trinh Diem Quynh, chief executive officer and designer of the Yaly Couture brand, in collaboration with South African designer Casper Bosman.
