Construction of the 9,000 m2 plant began in July 2014 and LG Hausys has invested US$40m in the facility, which is expected to manufacture up to 6m m2 of sheet fabric annually; production began earlier this year.

Fabrics manufactured in the new Autoskin plant will be used for vehicles produced by such automobile companies as Hyundai/Kia, General Motors and Chrysler of North America.
