San Diego skin patch 3The first wearable device that can monitor both cardiovascular signals and multiple biochemical levels in the human body at the same time has been developed at the University of California San Diego.

The soft, stretchy skin patch is worn on the neck to continuously track blood pressure and heart rate while also measuring the wearer’s levels of glucose, as well as lactate, alcohol or caffeine.
