Major benefits in the transfer printing of stacked circuits

Conductive1Conductive Transfers, based in Barnsley, UK, has now printed more than 40,000 of its stacked circuits for use in the Innovo urinary incontinence treatment shorts that have been a great success since their launch in 2018 by Atlantic Therapeutics of Galway, Ireland.

Speaking at the latest virtual meeting of SmartX – the European Smart Textiles Accelerator, which has allocated €60,000 in funding to collaborative projects for the field – Conductive Transfers’ director of intellectual property licensing Mark Catchpole explained that Innovo shorts contain multiple electrodes that stimulate the muscles in the pelvic floor region.
