New intelligent textiles for composites
Luminous and temperature-sensitive composite textiles have been developed by Porcher Industries for which applications in a wide number of markets, including aeronautics, automotive, industry, construction, sports and leisure and safety, are envisaged.
The fabrics integrate functions into their fibres, such as the illumination of certain zones, temperature measurement or detection of a remote presence.
