Printable sensors detect pathogens and toxins

Researchers at Tufts School of Engineering have developed a method of detecting bacteria, toxins and dangerous chemicals in the environment using a biopolymer sensor that can be printed like ink on a wide range of materials, including wearable items, such as gloves, masks or clothing.
