Raschel machine installed for smart textile projects

FigA Raschel knitting machine for processing electrically conductive yarns has been inaugurated at the Grabher Group’s research subsidiary V-trion in Lustenau, Austria.

The Karl Mayer MJ 52/1-S machine will also be used for projects of the Smart Textiles Platform Austria, which brings together more than 80 international component and sports product manufacturers, service providers and research institutions, including the Grabher Group, Karl Mayer Group and the University of Salzburg, with its sports, movement and computer scientists as the scientific lead centre.
