Smart service for restaurants
The German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf is developing intelligent tablecloths that can initially assist restaurant management with social distancing arrangements, allowing visitors to place their orders directly on its surfaces and even play games or scroll through upcoming events.
DITF is now working on the development of purely textile sensor technology as part of a government-funded research project.
