Wearable health devices are not reaching those at risk

Wearable device checking progress x1000A new study has found that people who need wearable health devices, such as smartwatches and fitness bands, may use them the least.

Age, education and income are factors associated with less use of wearable health devices among people with and at risk for cardiovascular disease, according to preliminary research presented at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions 2022 held in November in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
